On Sunday, June 29, 2008, Gadsden Museum of Art & History hosted an opening reception in celebration of Alabama's Finest 2008, Arthur Umlauf. The artist and his wife joined the staff and city of Gadsden for the reception. Refreshments were served by the Laureate Eta Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi. The exhibit features the work of Arthur Umlauf, as well as works by his father, Charles Umlauf, brother, Karl Umlauf, and twin sisters, Lynn & Madelon Umlauf. The exhibit will be open until August 1, 2008.
