Scheduling a Tour for Tut @ GMA

The Gadsden Museum of Art welcomes school groups, civic groups, church groups, scout troops and other organizations to Tut @ GMA!

School Groups

Thanks to the generosity of Honda of Alabama, GMA is providing school groups in Etowah and surrounding counties the opportunity to see Tut @ GMA free of charge. GMA will cover transportation costs for schools visiting the exhibition, in addition to waiving admission costs. Funds for transportation are limited and will be offered on a first come, first serve basis. To schedule your tour, please contact Elaine Campbell at (256)546-7365 between noon and 4:00 pm, Monday thru Friday. We will give you a list of available dates. Please have the following information available:

Number of students, teachers, and chaperones
Name and phone number of contact person
Number of buses
Grade level of students

Be advised that GMA can accommodate up to 30 students per tour, therefore tours may be spread over several day to accommodate your group. GMA also requires a minimum of one chaperone per 10 students. Schools based in counties outside of the area covered by the grant should see the information for other groups listed below.

Other Groups

Groups of 10 or more should make reservations as early as possible so that suitable arrangements can be made. Groups of 30 or more should make reservations at least one month in advance. There is a $10.00 reservation fee per group, in addition to a charge of $3.00 per person. Arrangements can be made by calling GMA at (256)546-7365 between noon and 4:00 pm, Monday thru Friday.
