Superstar Arts
The Gadsden Museum of Art is excited to announce the launch of Superstar Arts, an arts instruction class for kids aged 6 to 12. Classes will begin on Tuesday January 3, 2012 and will be led by local artist and teacher, Cynthia McGinnis. We will be offering classes from 2:00-3:00pm and from 4:00-5:00pm on Tuesdays. Enrolling your child in Superstar Arts will provide an enriching experience that unleashes creativity while building self-confidence. At Superstar Arts, we operate on the philosophy that every child has the potential to become a great artist. Classes focus on drawing and will also include painting and a variety of arts and crafts that coordinate with museum exhibits. By teaching the fundamentals of drawing in a fun atmosphere where every child’s ability is nurtured and encouraged to grow, your child will learn to see the world with new eyes and will develop valuable skills they can use in all aspects of their lives. Art history and art appreciation will be a part of every lesson. Class sizes will be limited to groups of ten students so that your child can receive individual attention and instruction based on their abilities. All students will be invited to participate in a Spring Exhibition at the Gadsden Museum of Art. Get your child involved for $55 a month. Contact us now to reserve a space for your child.
